Corrie Beauvineau founded The Magnolia Children's Theater in response to a demand for high quality, local Children's Theater in the Nederland/Boulder Area. She believes drama is a powerful vehicle for children to express themselves and have fun while learning about complex themes in literature and human nature.

Corrie is a National Board Certified Teacher with over 20 years of experience. She has taught students K-12 in Colorado, Nepal and France. She holds a Master Degree in Curriculum Design and Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado and is certified as an elementary educator, school librarian and media specialist.  She has directed and co-directed many productions both in the classroom setting and as summer camp productions. Many of her prior students speak of these experiences as some of the most memorable highlights of their childhood years.

Yves Beauvineau brings a passion for educating children through authentic and experiential learning. He has over 20 years of teaching experience and also worked as a researcher creating interactive curriculum. He holds a Master degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver. Yves currently teaches French in the IB program at Fairview High School in Boulder and has co-directed The Magnolia Children's Theater Productions since its inception in 2017.

Maya Beauvineau is a student at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She helps direct the production and is a fantastic drama coach, guiding young children through various improv activities and games to help them develop their theater skills. She is also in charge of the cooperative games and vocal practice activities that help build the actors creative and expressive performance skills during the camp. Maya has performed in Shrek, The Adams Family, The Drowsy Chaperone, Cinderella, and various other local performances over the past several years.

Matéo Beauvineau will be a Senior at Fairview High School next Fall. He has acted in multiple plays since his debut in 4th grade as Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Sophia Beauvineau will be a freshman at Fairview High School next Fall. She has acted in several plays and really enjoys creating props, sets and costumes with others.
